The UK places unconfined importance in its relationship with Thailand, one of the UK’s oldest friends in SE Asia, with UK-Thailand trade dating when to the 17th Century. Thailand, the second largest economy in SE Asia, has proven to be resilient in the squatter of global and regional challenges with steady growth of virtually 4%. With a population of  68m and a rising GDP per capita, Thailand is working ambitiously towards remoter attracting investment to unzip growth well whilom 4%.  The Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), the government’s flagship project, will be the region’s new growth hub, presenting tremendous opportunities for UK companies looking to grow their Asia Footprint. The country’s comprehensive infrastructure plans, linked to the generous investment incentives, are key to attracting international companies into the new industrial clusters of aviation, smart electronics, biofuels, and next-generation cars. At this event, senior Thai executives from key government and merchantry organisations will present the latest progress, future policy direction, investment and export opportunities, including the Thai government’s flagship project – the Eastern Economic Corridor.
